I love having sunshine pouring into my home....I dread those gloomy, cloudy days where the house is dark and makes me want to sleep! But as I read this article, I realized that even when it's cloudy outside, we can still have joy and peace inside, thus filling our home with sunshine of a differant kind.....joy! I have read this article before but needed it today, and I was so glad to have read it!!

This is so true. But there can be many reasons we keep our curtains closed. I remember years back I was struggling emotionally and the way I was handling situations wasn't the way I normally function. Something wasn't right. I cam to realise that in order to make my airconditioning more efficient I was keeping my curtains closed. So I started to move my curtains with the sun. When the sun came in the east the curtains were down that side, when the sun came in the west, the east side went up and the west side came down. It was amazing the difference this made to me.
Another aspect, than the one mentioned in this quote, that helps us, is being able to see past the wall - to see a living plant, to see the energy of the sun, to see the occasional bird.
