Okay, so yesterday I made Morning Star Farms Asian Veggie Patties for the first time. Wow. These are really good patties! You can find them at most grocery stores, Wal-Mart Super Center, and health food stores. Here is how I made my burgers – I know you will love these whether you are a vegetarian or not!
Slice 1 green bell pepper and 1 red bell pepper and 1 small onion. Saute together in a little oil until soft and slightly browned. I like my onions and peppers to get all nice and caramelized and yummy!
Fry the 4 Morning Star Farms Asian Veggie Patties in a little oil and brown on both sides.
Meanwhile, take your favorite bun and slather with butter. Place in toasted oven or under the broiler and cook until edges of buns begin to turn golden brown. It is important to watch them carefully!
They can burn very quickly. Believe me, I know.
Place cooked patty on bun. Top with a spoonful of your peppers and onions. Top this with a nice hickory smoked BBQ sauce or even a honey BBQ sauce. Top with other side of bun and enjoy!
Absolutely yummy. You must try it.
