31 Days of Calm in My Chaos
31 Days of Calm is still going. I’m busy trying to get my own home organized. I was actually so busy yesterday cleaning and purging and rearranging that I didn’t even take time to check my email. It was a good Sunday. The kids and I completely flipped our family room. Moved furniture around, cleaned. It’s soooo much cozier now! And less cluttered feeling. I have enjoyed so much just sitting in the room today by the fire. I’ll have to share some photos later.
Speaking of fires… can you believe this crazy cold arctic weather we’re having this year? I mean, I’m used to the snow and cold, but it’s been staying below freezing forever now. Wow. I’m so tired of being cold.
I had planned to get my photos for weeks 3 and 4 printed yesterday, but it didn’t happen. Nevertheless, I will be getting them printed on Wednesday, so I’ll have some layouts to share with you next week. I don’t like getting that far behind, but it’s okay. We’re just talking a couple of weeks. Totally doable.
I do have a free printable to share with you. Perfect for these subfreezing temperatures we’ve been experiencing!

Homemaking is so much more than cleaning a house, cooking food, and making sure your family has clothes to wear. Homemaking is about nurturing a spirit of warmth, comfort, and love in your home.
