This is My Life Documented
This past week was soooo busy. I was gone from home everyday! Well, except for Friday. And then yesterday I spent the day cleaning the house and getting ready for my brother-in-law and his wife to come and stay with us.
They are moving here! And they’ll be staying with us until the purchase a home. In fact, they’ll be here tomorrow.
I’ve almost finished my bathroom. I can’t wait to share the photos with you. I’m so excited about the master bathroom makeover. Believe me, this was a long time coming.

My daughter Emily is getting braces and had spacers put in last Monday. Poor thing. Speaking of Emily, she’s entering an art scholarship for college. She finished her first selection a few days ago.
It took her about 8 hours to sketch out the initial drawing and then another 10 hours or so to shade it in. You can see more of Emily’s art here.
I highly recommend this series.
Since we homeschool, Emily has spent days just drawing and it has paid off.
Here are some of the books she’s used:

Homemaking is so much more than cleaning a house, cooking food, and making sure your family has clothes to wear. Homemaking is about nurturing a spirit of warmth, comfort, and love in your home.
