Menu Plan

Okay, so ordinarily, I post this on Monday. But I was busy.

Speaking of busy… life has been especially busy. And my dishwasher’s been broken for like six months. I averaged TWO dishwasher cycles a day in my house. That’s a lot of dishes. Not to mention the pots and pans and mixing bowls.

Anyway, I’m on a quest for really delicious one-pot meals/ crockpot dishes. Things that I could serve with say just a salad and/or biscuits or cornbread or crackers or homemade bread. Our guests left today… so starting tomorrow I’m going to be trying out as many as possible.

Here’s this week’s plan:

B – 7-up Biscuits, milk gravy, vegetarian sausages, fried eggs.

S – grilled burgers and hot dogs, chips, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, corn pudding, pink stuff

B – pancakes, fried eggs, syrup, vegetarian “bacon” from Morning Star Farms

L – leftovers

S – cottage cheese loaf, green beans with fingerling potatoes, cornbread, brown gravy, homemade creamed corn, pickles, olives, deviled eggs, cream cheese pound cake with peach sauce and whipped cream

B – tortillas, scrambled cheesy eggs, country fried potatoes, mango and peach salsa (pictured above)

L – sandwiches, chips

S – oatmeal patties, homemade creamed corn, brown gravy, green beans with fingerling potatoes, cornbread

B – grits, fried eggs

L – little pizzas, tossed salad

S – crockpot enchiladas, cucumber and tomato salad, 4 ingredient no-bake cheesecake (just because I feel like it.)

B – cereal or yogurt

L – grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup

S – pot pie, tossed salad

B – oatmeal with dried fruit and nuts

Lcouscous tomato salad, spicy crackers

Scrock-pot orange chicken stir-fry (with vegetarian chicken) , rice
