Painting My Sun Room

I can’t wait to share the finished results with you. Yesterday morning I went to Wal-Mart and picked up two gallons of paint and got to work on my sun room. It’s a long overdue project and I can’t wait to see it finished.

I didn’t think to take a real “before” photo, until my daughter reminded me, so we had already moved furniture and stuff when I took this one.

This is a photo I took of my sunroom a few months ago:

James came home and went to work scrapping paint on our wall that had some water damage from a leak.

I’m not done, but here’s a sneak peak at the new wall color. I still have to paint the bookcases and all of the trim and windows. It’s going to take a while.

The paint color in the photo above looks a little darker that it does in real life, but maybe that’s because it was night time when I took the photo.

Anyway, I’m very pleased with it so far!

  1. Awesome! Like the warm ambiance it gives your sunroom and how it brings the blue sky outdoors inside. Please post pics when finished.
  2. Love the color, would you share the name of it? What color will the trim be? I am planning to paint our porch blue with yellow trim, so curious to see your finished project.
