I am reading Unfailing Love by Karol Ladd and plan to post a review of the book in a few days, but I just wanted to give you a sneak peek at my initial thoughts on the book…
“I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.” Jeremiah 31:3
The introduction is titled: Divine Romance. Now, what woman doesn’t need that in her life? I know I do.
Here’s an excerpt:
Could a letter that was written in the first century be relevant to your life and mine today? You bet!
…In a culture that leans toward viewing Jesus as a nice guy who is one of many ways to get to heaven, we need to hear John’s words proclaiming loud and clear, “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” Yes, I would say that John’s message is just as relevant today as it was when he wrote it.
Can I hear an “Amen!” I am looking forward to reading this book. I may even want to use it for a women’s ministry Bible Study. There are chapter by chapter discussion questions provided.
You can visit Karol Ladd at her website.
Homemaking is so much more than cleaning a house, cooking food, and making sure your family has clothes to wear. Homemaking is about nurturing a spirit of warmth, comfort, and love in your home.
