Recipe Shared with us by Lynn Gipson
Lynn said, “Just remembered a great recipe I got from an elderly friend. She has been making this all her life. It is delicious!”
Frozen Cherry Pineapple Salad
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 Large cool whip (12 ounces)
1 can cherry pie filling (#2 size)
1 can crushed pineapple ( well drained) (#2 size)
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 cup chopped nuts
Mix Eagle Brand milk, pineapple, cherry pie mix, cool whip, miniature marshmallows, and nuts. Pour in a 9×13 container and freeze. Take out right before serving. Cut in squares. Can be used for desert or salad.
Note from Melissa: This sounds like a recipe I remember my own kids Great Grandmother making many times! Thanks for sharing with us Lynn!
