I headed each page with a fruit of the spirit and wrote a sentence or two about how my husband brought each one to our marriage and added " Thank You" to the bottom of each page.( I saw a similar idea on Monica's blog last year done as a banner with each word being written on a heart-shaped cut out.) It was a lovely way to spend a quiet half hour on a Sunday afternoon and I will be making a note of what I wrote in my prayer journal too to remind me through the coming year just how much he does for the family even though he is out and about so much.
