From Chaos to Calm: 15 Weeks to a Happy Home

Are you ready for some peace in your heart and peace in your home?

If you have been struggling with your home, your marriage, your children, or just life in general this might be the answer you have been waiting for! We will spend 15 weeks working toward a goal for:

  • peace in the heart
  • peace in the home
  • peace with our husbands
  • peace with our children

“Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.” Psalm 107:28 – 30

Each week we will focus on a different goal building upon each one as we go. So get ready!

Note: This 75 Day Devotional is designed to be read Monday – Friday, but you can go through the series however best fits your schedule!

IMPORTANT NOTE: I wanted to explain something… Some of my suggestions in this series, such as getting up early every day before the rest of your family will have exceptions to the rule. For example, if you work odd hours outside the home {third shift, etc.} and need to sleep in the mornings. So, you moms know who you are. And for the rest of us… you know who you are, too! 🙂

  1. I'm hoping for some encouragement and great resources from this website. My son is 7 months old and I find myself struggling to know who I am now and what I am to do. I still have problems with allowing others to hold or care for my son and this making things difficult on my son and marriage.
  2. Help! I was reading throught this Series and now i am on day 47 (waiting on god) and there is no article :( and the following articles are not there eather. Is there something wrong? I want to go on with the series!
    1. Kathy, you don't need to officially sign up - just show up and participate in the daily challenges and leave a comment/ question. I'll have more instructions on Sunday for everyone! Thanks for joining in!
      1. Hi sorry if this is in the wrong spot but I was looking at the podcasts and the first one that shows up is day 24, I was wondering if you could help me find the first day to day 23?? Thank you and I look forward to this journey.

    1. Hi Brandy, I'm so glad you're enjoying the series. I understand about the printing and hopefully one day soon I'll have the e-book complete. It's just such a time consuming project and I have no help. :) I do all of this on my own and I have a very busy full life. But I'll announce when it's finished!
    1. Hi Nicolette, each day - Monday thru Friday I post the next devotion. You can read through and then listen to the podcast at the end of the devotion. Hope that helps. :) If you have any other questions, let me know.
  5. I'm joining in late since I recently discovered the series via Pinterest. The timing couldn't be better. I have desperately been wanting to enter a season of peace for our family. One problem though, I thought getting on the computer to do this would be easier but, as soon as I get on your site on day 1 it keeps freezing everything up. The computer is brand new and I have the most current version of Firefox. If I go into reader view right away that helps a lot but then, I'm unable to comment or anything. Any suggestions?
    1. Hi Amanda, I'm so sorry you had trouble. I'm not sure why - I haven't had any other complaints about it. The site is optimized for mobile and pc... Let me know if you continue to have trouble. Thanks!
  6. I have been so very blessed by this series and by your website overall. I am on a very special journey to get closer to my Lord and Savior, and to be a proverbs 31 woman. Your life has blessed me more than I will ever be able to express. Thank you for sharing and Thank the Lord for you. Be encouraged, Your sister in Christ.
  7. HI Melissa, this Devotion is an answer to prayer for me. I would like to share with the ladies at my church but they mainly speak Spanish. Can this be found anywhere is Spanish? If not would it be okay for me to translate and share with my friends?
    1. Hi Nicole, you are welcome to translate it in printed form for your personal use only. You may share the content with your friends in a small group as long as it is not sold or widely distributed. Thanks!
  8. Hello i was wondering if there is a pdf that has all the days to print instead of clicking on each day. oh my this is going to take me forever Help ! lol
  9. You say to wake up early, before the kids. I would LOVE to do this! IF I had slept all night. I still wake up 3-4x a night with my 18 month old. I am exhausted. At the same time I feel like I'm responding to crisis all day long, especially between my 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter!
    1. Hi Amy, I completely understand. You need to sleep! My suggestion to wake up early is just that - a suggestion. :) When your children are a little bit older, it will get easier! God bless you!
  10. I have read tons of other websites of christian women blogging and your the first to really catch my heart . i get so excited to see what is next , you have really become an inspiration in my life . thank you so much for all that you are doing . your tesimonies and encouragement on this journey has helped me see a better future . i am mom of 3 girls , a 13 month old, 3 year old and 8 year . waking up in the morning has been a trial, but one that is perferable due to the fact that when i sleep in , i wake up with half my day gone hahaha and stress on the rise .
