I have a large family. I regularly feed 15 – 20 people and do most of the cooking myself! And on holidays there can be even more family. Because there are so many of us and especially since there are so many kids, I love to host our dinners outside in our front yard.
Our yard is mostly front yard – the backyard overlooks the valley below.
Anyway, during the spring, summer, and fall months if there weather is nice, you will often find us eating outside on our picnic tables. I’ll set up two folding tables for serving the food if we have a large crowd.
I also like to string lights and light candles and set out flowers from my garden.
This Spring Celebration Menu is simple and delicious and perfect for Easter {these photos were from our family celebration last year}. Plus, it’s all vegetarian!

Everyone loved this dinner. It was so good and there was so much food! I had to wait to eat dessert; I was so full.
Oh, and by the way, I purchased the yellow tablecloths, the sweet paper plates, and the napkins at the Dollar Tree.
I added Mason jars tied with green grosgrain ribbon and filled with daffodils to each of our picnic tables and I strung my Chinese Lantern lights around the trees for a festive evening as we all enjoyed the nice weather. This would be perfect for a summer picnic as well!
I hope you enjoy these recipes. This is one of my favorite menus!
